( ENSPIRE ENTERTAINMENT ) Purple WondaLuv’s Musical Mission
Sol Village is one of New York City’s longest and most well respected R&B showcases. Running monthly it is hosted by artist, singer-songwriter Eric Roberson since its inception; the series features some of the best up and coming talent in R&B. This past week Musiq Soulchild’s persona Purple Wondaluv, blessed us with a first time performace of his latest EP “Eternal Peace” at the famous SOB’s.
We got to speak with him about his new album, authenticity and his ability to consistently be a well-rounded artist in different genres of music:
His latest EP has honest lyrics that come from a motivational and encouraging stand point. With a single “Time Is Now,” he expresses how every second is so precious and we should not take it for granted. This album speaks on an expressive view of helping others get through trials and tribulations and is not about love and relationships. He talks love, but more so about self-love and the manifestation that love can bring to others. Purple Wondaluv says “This is not a money mission, it’s a message mission.” This album delivers a message of faith, courage and growth.
