( ENSPIRE COMMUNITY ) iCu NYC Fashion Week for Charity
iCu NYC Fashion Show for Charity was a showcase of Spring/Summer 2016 covered six showcases in two days at Il Bastardo. This amazing display of talent and opportunity for networking drew over 800 attendees during New York Fashion Week. Top designers and emerging artists were given a platform to display their exclusive lines during the first ever “Quiet Fashion Show.” Attendees were given their own headset, giving them the option to listen to three different stations as they watch fashion and art take the runway.
Not only was iCu NYC Fashion giving a cutting edge fashion experience but they also partnered with an organization to benefit a good cause. Proceeds from the fashion show went to an awesome 501c3 organization called OneMama. OneMama is an organization that supplies birthing kits and medical supplies, builds medical clinics, and creates a marketplace for women and their families to sell their crafts or crops. Their efforts continue to empower women, families, and communities to be successful through sustainable health, education, and economics. Founder of OneMama, Siobhan Neilland showcased the OneMama clothing line and the audience was amazed at the outcomes of supporting the clothing line.
