Rappers 21 Savage and Offset from Migos collaborated on a surprise album with producer Metro Boomin. The album titled “Without Warning, “ dropped on October 31st and peaked #4 on the US Billboard charts. The Album is Offset and Metro Boomin’s first top 10 album and 21 Savage’s second.

The 3 of them has had their own individual successful moments in their careers. 24-year-old producer Metro Boomin has worked with both artists previously on multiple occasions. He also worked with other well-known artists such as Future, Young Thug, Nicki Minaj, Dj Khaled and many more. Offset and his two group mates dropped an Album “Culture” on January 27 and received lots of credibility and Love on the charts. Fan favorites like “Bad and Boujee,”“T-shirt” and “Slippery” rose Migos to fame quickly. While enjoying the success from “Without Warning” Offset is currently working on “Culture 2” with the rest of the Migos. 21 Savage’s debut album called “Issa Album” was released on January 18th. The album debuted at #2 on the US Billboard 200 charts. Savage released 2 mixtapes “The Slaughter Tape” & “Slaughter King” before his album and both mixtapes gained a large amount of success.

They are some of the youngest in the rap industry and have achieved a lot in a year. The industry of music is changing and these artists are in their mid-twenties only beginning to perfect their crafts.  Ask yourself, what are most males their age doing? Their lyrical content is debatable but their influence in the music business/industry, style and trends are not.

Whether you like, love or don’t listen to their music, you have to give credit where its due. These are young African American males dominating a billion dollar industry…. legally.
